You know the situation is out of hand when you get random calls from people that have "heard you got your car back." And they start asking "how?!?"
That makes six I've found with little to no effort.

LONG article coming, in editing. Having one of the editors give it a look-over and making sure to get an ok from my legal. There are at least 50 cars at his shop in various levels of repair.

As I wrote in reply when you first mentioned this whole flustercuck: Friend of mine had something similar happen with a Corrado G60 that got an AMG supercharger conversion. Guy declared bankruptcy and that was it. "Try to reach into a naked man's pockets" as we say over here.

He's claimed bankruptcy to get out of similar situations which means they're less likely to be grant it again. But if he does, the way the damages are applied make them exempt to bankruptcy. Also, I'm not so sure there won't be criminal changes with all the people coming out of the woodwork. As long as no one else gets swindled by him it all won't be in vain.

Good to hear. As bad as the situation is right now, maybe at the very least some good can come out of it.
